Emma Littledeer
Emma was born in Sioux Lookout and raised in Lac Seul First Nation (“LSFN”). Emma currently works as a Prenatal Educator with LSFN, offering doula services and support to young parents. Prior to this Emma worked for LSFN in Prevention Services, supporting individuals and families through substance treatment and mental health support. Emma has received certificates in the social services and healthcare fields. In 2019, Emma served her community as a Member of Council. Emma is a strong advocate for mental health and addictions supports and is a current member of Lac Seul’s Task Force to develop a drug and alcohol strategy. Emma has been on the Board of LSPS since 2018, where she provides guidance and advice to the
police service on matters relating to law enforcement, structure, and operations, and is a strong
advocate for the members of LSFN which LSPS serves.
