Lorraine was born in Amos, Quebec. Shortly after she was born, her parents moved to Kenora, and then on to Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, and Edmonton. As a teenager, Lorraine moved to Kejick Bay in Lac Seul First Nation (“LSFN”), where she has lived ever since. Lorraine attended high school in Pelican Falls, graduating in 1996. Lorraine has held several jobs in the community including Recreation Director for LSFN, Teaching Assistant at Waninitawingaang Memorial School, Elder’s Coordinator, and the Admin Assistant for the Kejick Bay Band Office. Lorraine is currently LSFN Events Coordinator and has two teenage children who live in Kejick Bay.

In the Spring of 2019, Lorraine joined the LSPS Board as a member, becoming Chair of the Board in 2023. As Board Chair, Lorraine strives to help the LSPS and the LSPS Board the best that it can be and to ensure the success and longevity of the service as a whole. As a mother and a community member, community safety is an important issue for Lorraine.
